Marion was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 11, 1920. She was a very active child who always enjoyed spending time with her sisters, brothers, and many cousins.
While in her teens, Marion went into the workforce to help support her family. After World War II ended and Joseph returned from serving in the Army, they were married. Shortly afterward, Marion left the workforce and became a homemaker and concentrated on raising her family. In 1966, Marion and her family moved to Rochester.
Marion always enjoyed cooking big meals for her family and often referred to her grandchildren as "angels". She loved the holidays, especially Christmas.
Some of her favorite activities included dancing, singing, sewing, ceramics, line dancing, reading romance and historical novels, and doing word puzzles. Marion loved big band music and her favorite song was "In The Mood". She and Joseph loved to Lindy to it and they were really good!
Family and friends would best describe Marion as someone who was very social, loving, traditional, and a great cook! She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
