Vahue, Mark J. Jr. Greece: July 7, 2016. Mark is predeceased by his brother, Tim Vahue; maternal grandmother, Betty McDonald; maternal grandfather, Seamus McDonald; paternal grandparents, Mary Charles Vahue; uncle, James Bell. He is survived by his loving parents Maureen (McDonald) Mark Vahue; sister, Meagan Vahue; nephew, Jackson Vahue; loving aunt, Beverly (McDonald) Bell; many aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. Mark's Funeral Service will be celebrated Thursday, 11 AM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 Long Pond Rd.). Interment Private. Please omit flowers. Mark was one of three children to Maureen Mark Vahue. He first resided in the city and later his family had moved to Greece. During his early years he enjoyed the simple things. He could always be found with his Brother Tim and cousin Shannon. He often found himself playing street football. His father Mark recalls being exhausted after playing for what seemed hours on end. As he grew up he enjoyed playing football in the Vince Lombardi League. His family fondly remembers his excitement attending Woodstock II with cousin, Shannon. He enjoyed musical selections performed by Bob Marley and Janis Joplin the most. Family time was important to him. He looked forward to Christmas Eve and Christmas spent with family. Mark's sense of humor, loving disposition, bubbly nature and patience with younger children was who he was as a person. Those that knew and loved him will miss him.
