Mary Ellen Cappon (Carter) (Thomson) Greece: January 21, 2020. Mary Ellen is predeceased by her husbands, Lance Thomson (the father of her children) Craig Cappon; parents, George Nellie Carter. She is survived by her children, Carter, Deborah (Dan) and Robert; grandchildren, Jason (Jackie), Sarah Lucas; great-grandchildren, Lance, Sophia Bennett; step-grandchildren, Coralan, Cynthia, Mark and their children. Thank you for remembering her with visits and cards throughout her illness. Mary Ellen was a devoted mother and grandmother and life-long animal lover. Throughout her life she was committed to volunteering at many community organizations. She once was church organist at Greece Baptist Church and was a founding member of John Knox Presbyterian Church. Mary Ellen's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to her caregivers, Chelsea, Nicole, Stacy Jennifer for their compassionate care. Mary Ellen's interment in Parma Union Cemetery was held at the convenience of the family. Contributions can be sent to an animal charity of your choice, in her memory.
