Mary Jane was born in Rochester on September 16, 1938 to Dominic and Anna Antonucci. Growing up on Romeyn Street, she loved and adored her father, always told jokes, loved picnics, and always said her sister was a gbrat and her brother a "little monkey". she attended Nazareth High School where she wrote for the Nazareth Newspaper and was a Beaver Patrol Club member. After graduation, she worked administratively at the Rochester State Hospital and also held jobs working from home for attorneys as well as Administrative Assistant to the Principal at Hoover/Odyssey schools. She met her husband, Philip, at an AQ/Nazareth dance and they were married on September 20, 1958. Together they raised 4 children. Mary Jane always enjoyed family parties and vacations in places such as Punta Cana, Banff Alberta, Canada, and Myrtle Beach. Some of Mary Jane's favorite activities included reading, card playing, watching hockey, gardening, ceramics, religion, and spending time with her grandchildren. She also loved an occasional glass of scotch. She enjoyed love stories, jazz (her favorite song was Night Train), and the color green. Mary Jane would always tell you "don't sweat the small stuff" and "do unto others as you want done to you". Family and friends would best describe Mary Jane as being playful, full of life, genuine, fun loving, strong, accepting of others, always thoughtful of others, generous, supportive of children, admirable, courageous, being constantly on the move, friendly, intelligent, and as someone who loved to dance and was devoted to her family. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
