Mary Jo entered into rest on March 23, 2019. She is predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Favata; parents Mary Jane Joseph J. Attinasi. She is survived by her sister, Frances Pasquarella; special nieces special nephew, Andrea Pasquarella, Joseph C. Favata Joanne Favata; sister-in-law, Ursula Favata; loved nieces, nephews,
great-nieces, greatnephews, cousins and dear friends, especially the Amato, Vaccaro, Signorino (including Little Bear) and Mary Jo's "King's in the Corner" pals, the Joosten's and
her cherished childhood friends.
Mary Jo was active and maintained relationships that included Holy Rosary, Nazareth Academy, United Way, Park Ridge Auxiliary, Woodbriar Patch neighbors, St. Charles Borromeo Church Parish where she was a member for over 60 years and was a original member of the Resurrection Choir. "To my family friends, however you addressed me, whether it was, Mary Jo, Joey, MJ, Aunt, Auntie, Cousin or Mrs. Favata, I want you to know that at one time or another, you have all been the sunshine of my life and I thank you. Please remember me in your prayers." Special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at Sunset House for the care they bestowed unto Mary Jo. As Per Mary Jo's request there will be no prior visitation or services. Her burial in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery was private. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Sunset House, 3746 St. Paul Blvd., Rochester, NY 14617 in Mary Jo's memory
