Passed away peacefully December 7, 2020. Born April 14, 1930 in Buffalo, NY, Mary Lou was predeceased by her loving husband Edward, and survived by her children, Peter, Kathleen, Timothy, and Barbara; grandchildren, Jessica, David Nicholas, Nadya, Becki, Jane, and Ryan; and great-grandchildren, Mya, Paisley, Shiloh, Lucy, Grace, and Oliver. After graduating from Nazareth College in 1952, she raised her family in Irondequoit, where she made many loving friends. She later lived in Greece, NY, for 23 years, where she received much care and affection from neighbors, friends, and fellow parishioners at St. Lawrence Catholic Church. Mary Lou knew everyone by name at her florist, bakery, local grocer, salon, and favorite restaurants. She offered stories and kind words to friends and strangers alike. Her great passion was playing bridge, which brought her much joy. Her grandchildren will remember that her lipstick always matched her manicured nails, and they will miss the bit of lipstick that rubbed off on them from her hugs and kisses. Services were held privately. A Celebration of Life will occur in 2021. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
