History
Mickey`s pride and joy was that of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In public Mickey was very proper, she always did and said all the right things. At home, there was no bigger kid around than her. She would dance, sing, skip rope or take a crack at a hoola hoop. Her sense of humor and joy for living was always best displayed amongst her family. Mickey could also be described as the life of the party, generous, strong, kind and non-judgemental. Mickey would listen to all kinds of music, she especially enjoyed music from the 40`s and the opera. Mickey enjoyed cooking, she was very good at being able to teach her family all of the tricks to her many different recipes. She was best known for her southern fried chicken. Mickey would always find time at 5PM to enjoy a glass of wine. Mickey was a member of the Danforth Recreation Craft Club. It was there that she would share her sewing, knitting, crocheting and quilting with others.
