History Passed away at age 60 on January 1, 2013 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Survived by his sisters, Nancy J. Mastrodonato, Patricia A. Tette; niece, Kristine Mastrodonato. Services Visitation will be Friday from 5-8 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Morris's funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 11:30 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester, NY. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Morris had a wonderful sense of humor and was a very kind man. He fought his pancreatic cancer since April and never complained. He was a very private person who was born and raised Catholic. He received all of his sacraments. Although he didn't attend church on a regular basis because he worked so often, he really believed in God and even had a crucifix and picture of the Sacred Heart in his room. He lived simply and was very generous. He was a great uncle and friend to his niece, Christine. Morris was employed as a fork lift driver at Erdle in Gates for 40 years - the only job he ever had! He never retired, but then he got cancer in April 2012. He really liked his job. In his spare time, he liked listening to all types of music and dancing. Je was also good at restoring old cars. Family and friends would best describe Morris as a kind and gentle man who was happy with life. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
