One of her favorite places in the world was her family's home on Portage Lake, Maine. She was able to spend the last weekend of her life there with her parents and sisters, doing many of the things she enjoyed most, including riding a jetski and eating lobster rolls. She was an exceptionally proud and supportive mother; she devoted her life to her children. While famous for constantly losing her keys, Pam was organized where it counted; she orchestrated her son Michael's wedding just three weeks ago. She constantly remarked how proud she was of the man he had become, and was confident he would provide a wonderful life for his new wife. She felt very blessed to have Michael so near to her, but she also loved visiting her daughter Lexy in San Francisco, where she could indulge her passions for the ocean and exploring history. November was her favorite time of year to visit California; last year, they drove to San Diego and back up on the coast. She made Lexy drive so she could enjoy the view of the ocean. Pam was loved by so many. She looked very forward to biweekly margarita parties with her dear friends Marla Chefalo, Lisa Bowles, Rhonda Pecorella, and Kirstin Roides, where they would laugh, catch up, and reminisce about when they all worked at the Ground Round. Pam had a wonderful sense of humor, which made her popular everywhere she went, but especially in the workplace. She was also a coordinator for TSA at the Rochester Airport, a job that was newly created when she stepped into it, and of which she took very much ownership. She was an institution at the The Overtime Bar Grill, where she bartended, hostess, served, and managed. Overtime is owned and operated by her close friend the Bowles family, and she saw working there as more of a social outlet than a job. (She constantly said she was going to quit, because she worked so many hours between two jobs, but she never could, because it was such an integral part of her life.) Pam worked hard her whole life, and for this and infinite other qualities, she set a good example for everyone she met. She made so much of her too-short life; what would be her final month was filled with joy, activity, travel, and most of all, family. Though her sudden passing is tragic, there is some solace in the fact that her last days were filled with joy, not sadness. Heaven is certainly a brighter place today. Words cannot express how deeply she will be missed on Earth.
