Patricia is predeceased by her beloved husband, Ronald Purpura Sr., and brother, Ron Spinelli. She is survived by her devoted children, Ronnie J. Jr. (Denise) Purpura, Mike (Anessa) Ansley-Purpura, Cindy Purpura (Greg Hofstetter), and Karina Purpura; cherished grandchildren, RJ III, Michael (Alyssa), Kailey, Cole (Shannon), Brianna (Mike Campomoar), Destinee, Daniel, Lilly, Laine, and Brooke; adored great-granddaughter, Blessing Purpura; dear sisters-in-law, Sandy Grooms and Alexis Spinelli; along with many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Patricia was the heart and nucleus of her family — a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose selfless, caring, and generous spirit touched everyone around her. She devoted her life to her family and friends, always putting others before herself. Patricia found great joy in gardening and baking, and her kitchen was filled with the comforting aroma of her specialties: chocolate cake, cinnamon rolls, Sunday sauce, and her famous pizza bread.
Patricia’s life story will be shared during visitation 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, October 14th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00am on Wednesday, October 15th at St. John the Evangelist, 55 Martha St. in Spencerport, followed by interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Patricia’s name to the American Diabetes Association, P.O. Box 7023, Merrifield, VA 22116-7023.
