Greece: November 21, 2016. Patricia is predeceased by her sister-in-law Virginia Schirmer. She is survived by her husband Ronald F. Pieniaszek; children, Daniel (Kristine) Pieniaszek, Debra Pangburn & David (Charlene) Pieniaszek; grandchildren, Karen (Ryan) Camman, Michael Pieniaszek, Ashley (Walter) Adams, Austin Pieniaszek, Andrew Pieniaszek & Nicole Pieniaszek; great-grandchildren, Josh Pangburn, Brayden Adams & Amelia Camman; brother David Litzenberger; brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law Walter (Rita) Penazek, Bernard (Gloria) Pensek & Leon (Lorraine) Penazek, Dolores Hawryliak, Arlene Harris, Richard (Gail) Pieniaszek several, nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Patricia's visitation will be Monday 4-8 PM at the Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). Patricia's Funeral Service will be celebrated Tuesday 10 AM at the Funeral Home, followed by her Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave., Rochester, NY 14642 in her memory.
Patricia was born on April 6, 1942 to Robert & Alice Litzenberger in Rochester, NY. During her childhood, she enjoyed singing and dancing and participated singing in her church choir.
Patricia met Ronald Pieniaszek at the Polish National Bowling Alley and began dating. They were married on August 26, 1961 at St. Stanislaus Church. They went on to have 3 children, Daniel, Debra and David. Patricia and Ronald have been married for 55 years.
Some of Patricia's favorite life events were celebrating Christmas, Thanksgiving and Easter with her family.
Patricia loved to keep busy and enjoyed many hobbies. She liked to sew, quilt, paint and cross stitch. She was also known for her baking and cooking, as her family loved her clam chowder soup, various pies, cakes and Christmas cookies. Patricia loved cats and liked to spend time in her yard, tending to her garden of flowers.
Some of her favorite music artists were Rod Stewart, Elvis Presley, Barry Manilow and Liberace.
She enjoyed being in her home, as she was organized, meticulous and "never stopped moving."
Patricia was known as a creature of habit as she liked to have structure, order and a daily routine. She was a creative, traditional and a very strong willed person.
Patricia will always be fondly remembered by all who knew her and will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
