Paris; parents, Augostino and Matilda (Bellomo) Paris; his sister Nancy (Paris) Simonetti, his brother Sam Paris (California) and his nephew Bob Simonetti. History He is survived by his loving wife of 16 years Beth Paris of New Port Richey, FL. He was a devoted, proud and loving father to Patricia (Patti) Glidden of Dayton, OH, Gus (Mary Beth) Paris and Patrick (PJ) Paris of Rochester, NY. He was a devoted, proud and loving grandfather to his grandchildren: Melissa Paris of Rochester, NY; Brian (Nici) Glidden of Columbus, OH; Kevin (Rachel Anderson) Glidden of Sacramento, CA; Patrick and Valerie Paris of Rochester, NY. He was also a devoted, proud and loving great-grandfather to Brianna and Jacob Glidden of Columbus, OH. He is survived by his sister-in-law Theresa (Sam) Paris-Marchese of California. He is also survived by Beth's children Richard Price of New Port Richey, FL; Donnel (Bruce) Masak of Linden, MI; Mike Price of Seattle, WA; and Beth's granddaughter, Sara Masak of Linden, MI. He also leaves fond memories for many surviving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Donations Since he favored and donated to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, the family suggests contributions could be made in his name. Services Family and friends are all invited to Celebrate Patrick's life in a Memorial Mass on Saturday August 20, 2011 at 9:30 AM at St. Theodore's Church (168 Spencerport Rd.) Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Additional Information Patrick A. Paris formerly of Rochester, NY, died on December 15, 2010 at the age of 91 at Hospice House in New Port Richey, FL after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a graduate of Jefferson High School in 1937 and Rochester Institute of Technology in 1955. He retired from Eastman Kodak Co. in 1982, which allowed him to spend more time with his family and enjoy the warm weather in Florida in the winter. He was a proud veteran of World War II. Serving in the Army 53rd medical battalion in the European theater, he fought on D-Day, the Battle of the Bulge and the Battle at Remagen Bridge. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council #8155 and the American Legion Post #79. As a devout Catholic, his faith sustained him. He was a member of Holy Rosary Church and St. Theodore Church in Rochester, NY. In New Port Richey, he was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. He devoted his life to his family, always guiding, teaching values and supporting with love and sincere concern. Working on home projects with his kids was not only an enjoyment, but a proud accomplishment. He was a great dancer and loved Big Band music. He was passionate about his garden and he took great pride in his well-manicured lawn. He was a master at playing cards and enjoyed watching football, baseball and golf on TV. He loved a good Italian meal, red wine and enjoyed drinking coffee (which he prided himself in making). He loved a good joke and enjoyed fun-loving teasing right up to his last days. He showed dignity, integrity and strength throughout his life and in his death. He left a legacy of love, compassion and caring for every person's life he touched. He will be greatly missed, but he will remain in our hearts forever.
