Patrick was born on February 4, 1928 and began working at an early age to help support his family. He rolled cigars, picked beans and was employed for over 43 years at LeChase Construction. He met his wife, Millie, at a Halloween party.
Family events were something Patrick always looked forward to. He was always the first to arrive and the last to leave. His grandchildren were the apples of his eye. He also was known for supplying to his family Christmas trees that he had grown.
In his spare time, Patrick enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, canning, and supporting his children and grandchildren at any of their events. Patrick was a woodworker and built 3 homes and a hunting cabin as well as having planted thousands of trees in his lifetime. He never stopped moving. He was a conservationist, enjoyed bird watching, and was so very well versed on trees that he could name them based on the leaves. Patrick loved history and enjoyed traveling to the old country.
Family and friends would best describe Patrick as someone who was traditional, religious, hardworking and very active. Patrick was passionate about things he cared about, didn't waste things, was chivalrous, strong-willed, generous with his time and talents, and he always cared to do for others what was right. Patrick was the family patriarch and will be dearly missed.
