Survived by her sisters, Sister Concetta Mitrano SSJ, Sister Cora Marie Mitrano SSJ, Sister Ann Regina Mitrano SSJ, Frances (Eugene) Uttaro; brothers, Vincent P. (Jeanette) Mitrano, Rev. Joseph C. Mitrano CSB Gerard A. (Barbara) Mitrano; eight nieces nephews; fourteen great-nieces great-nephews; numerous cousins dear friends.

Services
Her Memorial Mass will celebrated 11:30 AM Saturday, December 1st at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd.
Additional Information
While growing up, Philomena went to school at Smith St./Saratoga, eighth ward. St. Anthony of Padua grammar school. Vocational High School Jefferson High School. She then worked for over 40 years at Bausch Lomb, quality control inspector. To Philomena's family she was the "Third" Matriarch.
Holidays were at her house, and her house was the center of family gatherings. She loved to bake, her specialty was cakes, cookies cupcakes. It made her happy to give out care packages to the family members. She so enjoyed having her birthday party at Old Country Buffet.
She enjoyed gardening and teaching ccd to children. She was also a volunteer at Parklands School. She passed out rosaries and she also possess many rosaries herself. Her favorites were, Rosary on tv, watching EWTN and the Lawrence Welk Show. Philomena was beloved, she was aspired to mechanical ability and she was very religious. Philomena will be miss by all.
