Survived by Rochester: February 21, 2008, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with illnesses at age 73. He is survived by his loving wife, Isabelle Furia; sons, Richard (Lisa) Furia, Steven (Christine) Furia, Kevin (Christine) Furia of Arizona; grandchildren, Richard (Karina), Alexandra, Kevin, Michaela, Michael; great granddaughter, Brooke; brother-in-law, Don (Margaret) Annechino; loving aunt, Grace Guarino; special niece nephews, Derek (Cindy) Annechino, Dana (David) Campbell, Dennis Annechino; many cherished cousins and friends. History Richard was the owner of Dick Furia Sons General Contracting. He was an avid train collector and also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was fond of gardening and loved to spend time at his cottage on the lake and his boat. He was very into his family, enjoying his children and grandchildren. He had a big heart and was a very kind and generous man. When Dick was around there was never a dull moment. He was non judgemental and was a mr. fix it to everyone. He would help everyone and anyone.
