History Rick is survived by his wife, Rosalind "Roz" Secondino; children, Kimi (Paul) Pecorella, Rick (Emilee) Secondino; granddaughters, Kaili (Dave Widrick) Pecorella, Kirstin Pecorella; grandson, Gavin Richard Secondino; mother-in-law, Laura Bonarigo; sister, Sandy (Andy) Silano; sister-in-law, Michele Bonarigo; nieces, nephews, cousins many dear friends. Donations In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lustgarten Foundation, 1111 Stewart Ave., Bethpage, NY 11714 in Rick's memory. Services Rick's visitation will be Thursday 4-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte. 390 Long Pond Rd.) His Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday 10:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 North Greece Rd. Additional Information October 7, 2012, after a courageous battle with Pancreatic Cancer. Rick was born in Rochester, NY on August 25, 1946 to his parents, Nancy and Richard Secondino. His sister was Sandy (Andre) Silano. When Rick was growing up, he enjoyed playing hardball. He continued it all through his teens and when he became older. He went to a lot of dances at the YMCA. In 1967, Rick was introduced to Rosalind Bonarigo, from Batavia, by a mutual friend of theirs. They became married in May of 1968. Early on, they lived in Batavia, and then moved to Rochester, NY, where they had two children, daughter, Kimi (Paul) Pecorella and son, Richard (Emilee) Secondino. From there, Rick had two granddaughters, Kaili Pecorella and Kirstin Pecorella, and then a grandson, Gavin Secondino. Rick enjoyed vacationing. He and Roz would vacation in the Outer Banks of NC, Ogunquit, ME, Myrtle Beach, SC and West Palm Beach, FL. He enjoyed Christmas Parties and Fourth of July. His favorite eating holiday was Thanksgiving. Rick enjoyed coaching his son's baseball team from the age of 6 and through college. He even pitched for Men's Slow Pitch League. He loved the Dodgers. Rick loved all types of music. His all time passion was for the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a true fan and would watch every game. The best way to describe Rick is that his family was very important to him. He was very proud of his children and loved them very much. He very much loved his grandchildren. Rick had a great sense of humor, he was witty, caring, loving and patient. Rick will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
