August 15, 1930 ~ August 22, 2014

Rochester: Entered into eternal peace on August 22, 2014 at age 84. Survived by his wife Patricia; siblings Robert Donna of FL; children, Chuck (Julie) of Idaho Falls ID, Susan (Steve) Krouth Jerry (Kathy); and grandchildren Randy, Breanna, Zach, Hannah, Abby, Ciara Aeriana.
Dick enjoyed skiing, golfing, music and spending time with his family. Dick was an Army veteran, Kodak retiree and longtime member of Bethany Presbyterian Church.

Friends may call 2-5 PM on Saturday, August 30 at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd) where Dick's Remembrance Service will immediately follow at 5 PM. Born on August 15, 1930, Richard grew up in Elmira, NY. He graduated with a Chemical Engineering Degree from Bucknell University. Richard served in the US Army where he completed intake physicals for new soldiers. In 1958, Richard married Pat whom he had met because she was a neighbor of his grandmother in Elmira.
Some of Richard's favorite activities included skiing, volleyball, and watching sporting events. He was a season ticket holder for the Buffalo Bills football games. He traveled to Brazil while working for Kodak and he coached Little League baseball. Richard enjoyed reading many different types of books and had several favorite authors. He liked watching the television shows MASH, Barney Miller and Taxi.
Family and friends would best describe Richard as easy going and having a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
