Barrow, Rita M. (Vail) Torrington, CT: July 2, 2016, at the age of 95. Predeceased by her brother, John Vail, sister, Mary Strong; granddaughter, Victoria Barrow. She is survived by three sons, Robert (Alissa) Barrow of Enfield, CT, Christopher (Mary) Barrow of Rochester, NY and Paul (Dot) Barrow of Harwinton, CT; grandchildren, Joseph (Patricia) Barrow; Jennifer Barrow, Alyssa Barrow; Jacqueline Barrow; great-grandchildren, Faith Barrow Gia Barrow; many nieces nephews. Rita was born in Rochester, NY graduated from Nazareth College. She taught elementary school in Rochester later in Cheshire, CT. Rita also lived in Middletown, CT for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother devout Catholic. Rita's visitation will be held 10:30-11:30AM on Saturday, July 9th at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Following visitation, her funeral mass will be celebrated 12:00 Noon at Holy Apostles Church, 7 Austin St (corner of Lyell Ave). Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
