Webster: May 9, 2020. Bob was predeceased by his siblings, Cloe Vaccarelli Bernard Hoepfl. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Marcia Hoepfl; children, Richard (Christina) Hoepfl Donna (Shawn) Hayes; grandchildren, Jordan Hayes, Ryan Hayes, Izaac Hoepfl Elias Hoepfl; sister-in-law, Bonnie Hoepfl; brother-in-law, Thomas (JoAnn) Eduardo; nieces, cousins dear friends. Bob served as Superintendent of Horticulture for Monroe County Parks at Highland Park for over 18 years. He was a prominent member of the International Lilac Society for nearly 50 years. Bob was actively involved in the hybridization creating new and different lilacs many of which can be seen in Highland Park. He was also a member of the Friends of Mt. Hope Cemetery. His funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 28. 10 AM at Church of the Most Holy Trinity, 1460 Ridge Rd., Webster, 14580. Bob's family is requesting all guests wear a face mask and use the provided hand sanitizer upon entering the church. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Highland Park Conservancy, 180 Reservoir Ave., Rochester, NY 14620 in Bob's memory.
