Bob was born October 8, 1935 in Rochester, NY to John Marion. As a youngster, he was a catcher in baseball, and played on the Madison football team where they were crowned City Champions.
While in the Army, Bob spent time in Germany and also had a Jeep accident and once fell off of a telephone pole.
Bob loved spending time with his grandchildren and attending sporting events. Some of his favorite activities also included golfing, hunting, painting, and he was a volunteer fireman in Gates Chili from 1964-1970. Recently, he was learning how to use an IPAD and specifically enjoyed playing Angry Birds.
Family and friends would best describe Bob as someone who was competitive and driven, a "do-it-yourselfer" like McGyver, and a prankster, especially to his grandkids. He also had a "borrow list" for his toolbox.
Bob will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
