Greece: Robert passed on May 4, 2020. He is predeceased by his parents, Patrick Natalie Thomas, He is survived by his wife, Anna (Palumbieri) and children, Robert M. (Lynne) Thomas and Michael V. Thomas; grandchildren, Anthony J., Joseph R. (Alyssa) , Alexandra Thomas, Nicholas Arieno, Dana (Nicholas) Rodak, Emily (Michael) Hughes; great grandchildren, Brianna, Nicholas and Madison Rodak; sister, Mary Frances Brumfield; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
As per NYS regulations, all guests are required to wear a mask and hand sanitize upon arrival for services.
*Robert's Memorial Mass will be held Tuesday, September 22, 7PM at The Parish of the Holy Family, 4100 Lyell Rd., 14606. He was laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, consider a donation to the Parkinson's Foundation, Greater Rochester Chapter, 1000 Elmwood Avenue, Suite 1600, Rochester, NY 14620 in Robert's name.
Bob was born in Rochester and grew up with his sister, Mary Frances. From age 16, Bob boxed and was known as "Foley Foe." He graduated from Jefferson High School and then attended Clarkson University, graduating with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked at Psaudhler Corporation as a mechanical engineer for 24 years. Bob enjoyed singing in the barber shop chorus "The Chorus of the Erie Canal and played the mandolin
Bob met Anna Palumberi in 1958, and they were married in 1960. They added two sons to their family, Robert and Michael. Bob and Anna were eventually blessed with grandchildren; twins, Anthony and Joseph; Alexandra and Nicholas. Bob and Anna loved to spend time with their many friends and liked to cruise and take vacations. They traveled to Melbourne Beach, FL; Italy, Dominican Republic and other Caribbean destinations.
