Bob went safely to heaven on April 16, 2013 at age 82 after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Survived by his wife, Jennie C. Whitney (Finocchiaro); sons, Richard Whitney David Whitney; several grandchildren; sisters, Bette Marian; brother-in-law, Jay. Bob was retired from Eastman Kodak. Visitation will be Friday 6-8 PM at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Bob's funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday at 10 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 3003 Dewey Ave, Rochester. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
