Ronald J. Markese Greece: Passed on October 17, 2022. Ron is predeceased by his wife, Judith A. Markese, parents Louis & Mary Markese, brother, Louis Markese; sister, Linda Fedele. He is survived by his children, Kim (Jeffrey) Karr, Ronald Markese Jr; grandchildren, Zackary, Alexis, Griffin & Seth Karr; niece, Traci Adolph; Marie. Ron's services were held at the convenience of the family. Donations may be sent to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 in Ron's memory. Ron loved a good, starched shirt. Wrinkles were not in his vocabulary. Perhaps this says something about his personality, or maybe he simply preferred to look put together. Ron had a lot of pride in his clothing, home, and vehicles but most importantly, he had pride in his family. He started his life in 1945 with his parents, Louis and Mary and siblings, Louie and Linda. His brother had a notable impact on his life. As a Rochester native, Ronald attended Franklin High School. Eventually, he worked as an electrician, restaurant entrepreneur, and auto broker. Sunny's in Fairport and Marquis Lounge in Greece were 2 of his endeavors, until he found his true passion--Ron Markese Quality Used Cars (or THE LOT, as we all called it). In high school, Ronald met Judith, and soon they were a couple. They married and started their own family, raising Kim and Ron, Jr. He and Judith took the family on many adventures - To Hawaii, Aruba, California, Las Vegas, and of course, the annual trip to Disney World. Years later, he spent his time forging an unbreakable bond with his four grandchildren (Zackary, Alexis, Griffin, and Seth). It is through them, that his true legacy was born. His love and undying commitment to his grandchildren will pass on for many generations. Besides traveling, he liked boating and playing cards, fishing, going to the beach, enjoying the ocean, and his dogs, Maya & Molly! He listened to country music and watched westerns with his favorite, John Wayne. He liked Polo cologne, nice cars, and nice clothing (no wrinkles...). Ronald was a good provider and a hard worker, but always made time for his family and friends. He was funny, a true people person, and easy to talk to. His compassion and ability to communicate will always be remembered. He loved hard and wanted you to love just as hard. He was first class.
