Gates: Ron peacefully passed, August 12, 2020. He was born on January 24, 1933 in New Castle, PA to Ben and Goldie Wolfbrandt. He graduated from Union Township High School, Montgomery College and proudly served in the US Army. Ron began his career as a Computer Systems Analyst at Patrick Air Force Base in Cocoa Beach, FL during the early days of the US space program. He then worked for RCA in Cherry Hill, NJ and completed his career at Stromberg Carlson Corp. and Rochester Instrument Systems in Rochester, NY. Ron had a wide variety of interests and some of his favorites included the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates, the Buffalo Bills, golf, the family cabin in the mountains of Pennsylvania and attending any activity involving his great-grandchildren. Ron will lovingly be remembered as always wearing one of his many feather laden hats, which he wore to make people smile, and the countless pictures he took everywhere he went. Ron was predeceased by his parents, his wife Arline, his daughter Marcy and his sisters Irene Bowen and Shirley Anderson. Ron is survived by his daughter Kathleen (Mike) Breen, son Curtis, grandchildren Brian Wieme, Kristi (Mark) Quill, Randy (Stephanie) Lada, Kelsea (Matt Williams) Wolfbrandt and 6 great grandchildren.
