Rosalia (Rinaudo) Cerami GREECE - February 21, 2019. Rosalia is pre­deceased by her hus­band, Nicolo Cerami her parents Rosario Concetta Rinaudo. She is survived by her chil­dren, Sam Cerami Rosa Ann (Paul) Christopher; grandchildren, Jennifer (Tim) Coon, Nick Ce­rami, Joe Cerami, Dom­inique (Tyler) Scaccia, Nicolette (John Mariano) Christopher, Paulie Christopher; siblings Maria Rinaudo Scavuzzo, Salvatore (Mellie) Rinaudo, Ralph (Carol) Rinaudo Cathy Stornello; several sisters-in-law and additional family in Italy. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, February 26th, 9:30 AM at St. Lawrence Church, 1000 N. Greece Rd., immedi­ately followed by her entombment in Holy Sepul­chre Cemetery. Rosalia was born on April 16, 1935 in Cefalu, Sicily to Rosario Concetta Rinaudo. She grew up with her siblings, Maria, Salvatore, Ralph and Cathy in Sicily. Rosalia got engaged to Nicolo before coming to America as a teenager. She became an American citizen and then sailed back to Sicily to marry Nicolo. Rosalia then returned to American and Nicolo arrived in America a year later. They went on to have two children, Sam and Rosa Ann. Rosalia and Nicolo also built their own family business, Cerami Italian Imports. Throughout her life, she would travel to Italy to see family and took trips to Arizona. Rosalia loved to tell stories and share their family's history with her children relatives. She was always supportive of her grandchildren's activities or events and was very proud of all of them. Some of Rosalia's hobbies were playing cards and bocce ball. She also enjoyed going to the YMCA every day. Rosalia loved to sing, and her favorite music was Italian and Opera. Rosalia was described as feisty, social, supportive and giving. She had pride in her appearance as she liked to look her best when going out. Rosalia was a hard-working, independent woman with a deep faith in God. Her favorite Saints were, Padre Pio St. Rita. Rosalia's memory will always be treasured by her loving family and friends. She will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
