She is survived by children, Michelle (Chris) Marr, Theresa (Dave) Latragna Michael (Beth) Schultz; grandchildren, Misty Marr, Joshua (Erin Hurlbut) Marr, Desirae Gingo, Cierra Maimone, Jordin Schultz, Gavin Schultz, Michaelyn Schultz, Aidan Schultz; great-grandaughter, Skylar Smith; sisters, Nancy Cole, Linda (Barry) Miller, Jennie (Joseph) Chinappi; brother, Samuel (Diane) Mirabella; sister-in-law, Doreen Stiner; several nieces, nephews cousins.
Rosemarie grew up mainly on the East side of Rochester, moving to Santee Street in 1964, graduating from Jefferson High School in 1966. Her career moves included: Genesee Hospital, Giuseppe's Restaurant, Petrillo's Bakery and Upstate Niagara where she worked for 31 years.
Part of Rosemarie's daily regiment was reading the Bible every night before going to sleep. She wrote poems and loved to draw. On a different note, she also loved going to the casino and played Red Head Sevens. She enjoyed playing Playstation 2 video games, such as Kingdom of Hearts, Sonic Hedgehog and Super Mario and was an avid hockey fan and lover of the Buffalo Sabres.
Above all, Rosemarie was a caring, nurturing and spiritual person. She was independent and a hard worker.
Rosemarie's visiting hours will be Wednesday, August 12 from 4:00-8:00 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her funeral service will be celebrated 10AM on Thursday at Crosspoint Free Methodist Church, 1021 Hilton Parma Rd. Interment in Riverside Cemetery. Donations may be sent to the Wilmot Cancer Center, 601 Elmwood Ave, Box 704, Rochester NY 14642 in Rosemarie's memory.
