Services William's visiting hours will be held 2-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd) His funeral service will be celebrated on Monday 10 AM at Christ Church, 141 East Ave. Interment Riverside Cemetery. Additional Information Santo William F. Liberto (Bill) was born on March 13, 1930. He was the son of Frank and Elsie Liberto who emigrated from Italy to find a better life for their family. He attended and graduated from Edison Technical School which continues to educate students today. He attended Brockport State College earning his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Education. As a young man, in 1958 he joined and spent 8 years in the US Navel Reserves working as a TDI2. Here he developed a lifelong love of airplanes and flying. An avid pilot, Bill earned his private pilot's license in the early 1980's and went on to receive his Instrument, Commercial, Multi- Engine and ATP ratings. He also taught Ground School to newly interested pilots for many years. He became a member of the QB "Quiet Birdmen" organization in the early 90's and remained active in the organization for many years even after he retired from flying. Before retiring from the Greece Central School District in 1991, Bill was first a Math and Science teacher and administrator at the Britton Road School for 17 years, then a Vice Principal at Olympia High School for another 18 years. A lifetime automobile enthusiast, after retirement Bill founded and was proprietor of Apogee Automotive in Brockport NY. Bill bought, sold, repaired and enjoyed motor vehicles throughout his life even becoming a licensed motorcycle driver at the age of 78. Bill was a lifelong member of Christ Church on East Avenue in Rochester. As a youth, he sang in the "all boys choir" and as he said, he "never lost faith in the Lord or in the church".
