February 26, 2017. Sam was predeceased by his parents Samuel & Marie Cacia. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Barbara (LaBella) Cacia; children, Allison Cacia, Dr. Jeffrey (Kimberly) Cacia; granddaughter Henley Grace Cacia; sister Ann Marie (William) Walker, brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, Salvatore (Sandra) LaBella, Pauline Sherwood, Ernest (Karen) LaBella, Ann Marie (Charles) Knauf & Patrick (Natalie) LaBella; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Sam's Memorial Service will be celebrated Thursday, March 2nd, 9:30AM at the Church of the Assumption, 20 East Ave., Fairport. Private Interment. Sam was born to his parents Samuel and Marie on April 16, 1953. He and his sister Ann Marie rounded out the Cacia Family. Sam met the love of his life Barbara through mutual friends at a Euchre Game. They were eventually married May 28, 1977. Sam and Barbara's family grew to include two children and very recently the first addition to the next generation his first grandchild was born. Sam had a true passion for the outdoors. He loved fishing and hunting. Spending time at his Rattle Snake Hill in Swain NY was a passion he always looked forward to. The only thing better than a day of fishing and hunting in Swain would have been ending it with a great IPA in hand with Barbara at his side. He is gone too soon, was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
