Samuel A. Santandrea GREECE - Samuel was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle, brother and friend. Known by all as a very generous man with a big heart; and to his friends and business acquaintances as an honorable businessman and financial genius. Born on November 22, 1932, he was a graduate of Holy Redeemer Catholic grammar school, Aquinas Institute and the University of Rochester. Predeceased by his parents, Angie and Mike Santandrea; wife, Marie Santandrea (DiStefano); daughter, Susan Santandrea Kane; sister-in-law, Anne (Joseph) DiMauro. He is survived by his loving son, Steven (Mary) Santandrea; grandchildren, Christina (Jason) Mancuso, Elizabeth (Anthony) Simonetti, Julie (Charles) Santoli, Richard Kane; great-grandchildren, Vincent, Marco, Leonardo and Stella; sisters, Matilda (Anthony) Bataglia, Marina (Carmen) Toscano; brother, Michael (Sandy) Santandrea; nieces and nephew, Patricia (John) Kecskes and family, Joanne (Paul) Bailey and family, Michael DiMauro and family; friend and business partner for more than 50 years, Jack (Dell) Stevens and family. He will be greatly missed by all. Special thank you to his loving grandson, Richard for being the best caretaker and friend. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the ICU doctors and nurses at Unity Hospital for the great care and compassion Samuel received.
