Sebastian Marino Hernando, FL: 57, of Rochester, NY passed away suddenly on January 1, 2023. He was predeceased by his father Frank and brother Joseph. His memory will live on with his wife Elizabeth, children: Julia, Emily, Joseph, Jenna, stepson Mason Rivera, children's mother Linda Rutherford, mother Jeanette Vilar, brothers Frank (Laura) Marino, John (Joy) Marino, and many nieces/nephews and extended family. Sebastian studied classical guitar at Hochstein, MCC, and attended the Musician's Institute in Hollywood, CA. He started his early career as a guitarist in Western, NY bands and then as a lead guitarist in highly acclaimed heavy metal bands, Anvil and Overkill. Sebastian was a beloved part of the entertainment community across the East Coast through his business Audio Images Sound & Lighting. He started his production company in 1996 and loved every minute of helping make audiences smile through live music. He supported local and national performers at the International Jazz Festival, University at Buffalo, Fairport Music Festival, recent "Yes" tours, to name a few. Sebastian's life story will be shared during his visitation, 3:00-7:00 pm on Wednesday, January 11th at Bartolomeo & Perotto Funeral Home, 1411 Vintage Lane (Between 390 & Long Pond Rd.). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Mother of Sorrows Church in Greece, 10:30am on Thursday. Following services at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, all are invited for a casual reception at Iron Smoke Distillery, 111 Parce Ave #5b, Fairport, NY between 2:00 & 5:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Sebastian's name to The Hochstein School (Hochstein.org).
