At the age of 85. Predeceased by his parents, Salvatore Filippa; sister, Pina. Survived by his loving and devoted wife, Josephine (Cardaci) Viavattene; children, Phyllis (Mark) LiButti, Sal (Terri) Viavattene; grandchildren, Nicole, Alexandra, Rachel, Cole, Rianna Julia; brothers, Giacomo (Graziella), Andrea (Rita) Giuseppe (Cetina); sisters-in-law, Connie (Joe) Profita, Maria Cardaci, Michela Scarlata; many loving god-children, special nieces nephews. Serafino's family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff at the Aurora House, the Palliative Care Unit at Strong Memorial Hospital the Wilmot Cancer Center. Serafino's visitation will be held 4-8 PM on Monday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 AM on Tuesday at St. Theodore's Church, 168 Spencerport Rd. Entombment Riverside Cemetery.
