April 8, 2015. Predeceased by his parents, Donald Frances Daniels. Survived by daughter, Sarah Daniels; brother, Donald F. (Julie) Daniels; uncle, Carl (Sandy) Parrini; niece, Kirsten (Michael Andrews) Buscetto; many cousins and dear friends. No prior visitation. Stephen's Funeral Service will be celebrated at 1 PM Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 Long Pond Rd). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Ave, Rochester, NY 14626 in Stephen's memory. Born on February 1, 1957, Stephen grew up in Rochester, NY where he liked playing sandlot football and baseball, swimming, and spending time with his cousins. He was a free-spirited risk taker as a teen and enjoyed southern rock music. He graduated from Gates Chili High School in 1975 and then received his Associates Degree from Monroe Community College. Steve loved spending time with his daughter, Sarah, bike riding, collecting pine cones, and fishing with her. He loved dogs (especially his dog Sheeba), Christmas, holiday feasts, and eating ice cream or peanut mm's. No one could consume candy or ice cream the way he did. Some of Steve's favorite ways to pass time were watching the Sci-Fi channel, horror movies, and football. He was a Cleveland Browns fan, always hoping to see them go to the Super Bowl, but not to be. Each summer he looked forward to going camping with Sarah, brother Don, cousin Sandy and other members of the family at Hamlin Beach and Letchworth State Park. In years past, Steve camped at Moose River in the Adirondacks and sometimes hunted pheasant and deer. Family and friends would say Steve bore a striking resemblance to his dad in both stature and personality. He is best described as someone who had a dry sense of humor, was strong-willed, and kind. He will be dearly missed.
