Susan (Sue) Viapiano passed away peacefully on July 24th, 2025, surrounded by family. Sue is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Donna Sortino; her sister, Beverly Logsdon; and her father and mother-in-law, John and Gina Viapiano.

Sue is survived by her husband; Salvatore Viapiano, daughter; Rosalina (Evan Witters) Viapiano, and siblings; Donna (Tom) Proietti, Judy Richardson, Carol (Tom) Marchese, Mike (Marcia) Sortino, Roseanne (Dave) Caparco, Tony (Lynn) Sortino, Linda (Ray) Mitrano, Barbra (Sandy) Potter, and Louis Sortino; in-laws Mary (Mike) Billitier and Theresa Versluis as well as many nieces and nephews.

Sue grew up in Rochester, NY, and graduated from Nazareth Academy. She spent her life working in restaurants before owning her restaurant, Primos Diner in Irondequoit. Sue was an avid reader who loved spending time in Florida, visiting with family and friends.

Sue’s life story will be shared during visitation on Monday, July 28th from 4-7 pm. Her funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 am at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane, 14626.
