Survived by her loving husband of 4 years, Bob Gordon; children Andrew Stephen of Las Vegas, NV and Kristen Cooper of Chicago, IL; grandchildren, Amber Stephen and Caeden Cooper; and brother Stephen Nisbet of London, OH. She is further survived by her beloved niece, Brooke Nisbet and nephews, Dan Nisbet, Dean Stephen, Brad Stephen, Scott Stephen, Craig Stephen; step sons, Michael, Doug and Andrew Gordon; other relatives and many friends.
History
Surrounded by the love and comfort of her family, Susan Nisbet Stephen, 72 passed away on January 10, 2009 at her home in Rochester after a long battle with melanoma cancer. Susan was born in Lake Bluff, Illinois on October 5, 1936. She graduated from Lake Forest High School in 1954; received her Bachelor`s degree from Depauw University and went on to achieve her Master`s in Education from Nazareth College. She was a primary school teacher for 22 years in the Greece Central School District until her retirement in 1999. Sue was a kind and loving person with a passion for teaching, tennis, travel and adventure. She truly lived every day to its fullest. Her fun-loving spirit, strength and generosity will be greatly missed by all those who knew her.

Services
BARTOLOMEO PEROTTO Funeral Home, Inc. 1411 Vintage Lane (between 390 and Long Pond Rd.) Visitation will be Friday, January 30 from 2-4 7-9 PM. Susan's Memorial Service will be celebrated Saturday, January 31, 11 AM at the funeral home.
Additional Information
Susan was a charter member of Gourmet Social Group, Greece Democratic Party. She supported Geva and Rochester Broadway Theater League. She enjoyed hiking, cooking,playing tennis, x country skiing, playing bridge, swimming, walks at Hamlin Beach and traveling to Europe, Japan, Australia. Susan was a proud grandmother and enjoyed spending time with Bob and her family.
