Thomas Carl Weber Rochester, NY: April 2023. Tom, known to his friends as Toad, is predeceased by his father, Carl Herman Weber. Born in Springfield, Illinois. Toad played jazz saxophone in a high school jazz band, with which he published an album. He then graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Science in Professional Photography in 1979. During Toad's life, he worked as a professional photographer at the Strong Museum (now Strong National Museum of Play), at Eastman Kodak in the Professional Photography Division, as a massage therapist at Midtown Athletic Club and Central New York Fertility, and as an assistant program manager at the Center for Experimental Learning at the University of Rochester Medical Center. He was known to be positive, gentle, caring and kind by all he encountered. Toad enjoyed hiking in the Adirondacks and walks with this dogs at Black Creek Park outside Rochester and continued to be a creative and prolific photographer throughout his adventures. He is survived, missed and loved by his children, Rufo (Julia Carlis) Sanchez, Phoebe Hernick, Leopoldo (Tanya Nikolic) Sanchez; Tom's children's mother and wife, Judy Sánchez; mother, LaVerne T. Weber; siblings, Scott (Diane) Weber, Anne (Paul) Holtz, Carl (Selena) Weber, Jean Aubrey; several nieces, nephews cousins & dear friends; and his beloved dog Molly and cat Jasz. All are invited to attend his Celebration of Life from 6-9 PM on April 25th at the Waterfront Lodge in Abraham Lincoln Park, 500 Smith Rd., Webster, NY 14580, casual dress cose, flannels or plaids (his favorites) are encouraged.
