Vincent grew up on Barcrest Drive in Greece. As a child, he was very active in sports, including little league baseball, bowling, softball, and playing kickball in the neighborhood with his friends. He graduated in 1975 from Greece Arcadia High School. He played football and enjoyed owning, working on and racing cars at Spencer Speedway.
When Vincent was young, he worked at Johnny's on Dewey Avenue. He later worked at several local Tool Die shops, but spent the majority of his career at Eastman Kodak Company. He also worked at Bausch Lomb and lived in California for some time. On November 5, 1977 at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, he married Paula who he had been dating since being introduced through mutual friends.
Vincent liked spending his down time taking family vacations, taking trips to Myrtle Beach, attending Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, and traveling to Mount Rushmore. Some of his other favorite activities included fishing, snowmobiling, scuba diving, boating, traveling, riding motorcycles, attending festivals, and enjoying a good glass of wine. He was a Washington Redskins and NY Yankees fan, liked to watch Duck Dynasty, the Sopranos and Godfather movies on television. When he was younger, he liked rock music, but switched to country music as he got older.
Friends and family would best describe Vincent as someone who was strong, spoke his mind, caring, generous, resilient, meticulous, active and loved his dogs. He helped inspire his family and friends to be all they could be. He was a great role model and always taught others about life. He appreciated the finer things in life. Vincent will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
