Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Donations may be made to Edna Tina Wilson Living Ctr, 700 Island Cottage Rd, Rochester, NY 14612 in Virginia's memory. Born on September 18, 1925, Virginia grew up in Rochester and kept a small circle of friends. She met her future husband while working at Sharon Optical Company. Virginia had traditional values and loved her family, her grandkids, and any family trips taken to Florida. Some of her other enjoyments in life were candy, especially peanut butter candies, Turtles, and Rolos. She had a serious sweet tooth. Virginia liked playing card games like Pinochle, doing word search puzzles, crocheting, knitting, and needle point. She loved baking, too - especially when making apple pies and stuffed cabbage. In her spare time, Virginia also liked to watch any courtroom-themed shows on television, the Jerry Springer Show, and Dr. Phil. Polish music was also a favorite. Family and friends would best describe Virginia as independent, strong-willed, social, someone who always helped others, was meticulous about her appearance, and loved being by the water. She will be dearly missed.
