ROCHESTER - Walter Voos, born April 22, 1921 in Brooklyn, NY has passed away peacefully in his home on Wednesday August 26, 2020. Walter is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Rita; his sons, Walter, Robert (Susan) Michael; grandchildren, Shawn (Liza), Allison (Matt), Kevin (Kristine), Timothy (Courtney), Christopher (Jenna), Jonathan Robert Jr.; several great- grandchildren. Walter was a US Veteran and served during WWII in the 96th Infantry Division. Walter devoted 42 years to Eastman Kodak Company and was a lifetime fan of the New York Yankees. Above all, Walter loved his family. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. We are comforted knowing he is at peace in heaven with his family and his recently deceased daughter- in- law, Jeanne Marie Voos.
