Wendy's is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 19 years, Robert Reifsteck; children, Karen Muncey, Kenneth Adami, Janine (Chris) Mooney; step children, Craig Reifsteck, Christopher Reifsteck; 4 grandchildren, Matthew, Caitlyn, Meghan and Christopher. Wendy's visitation will be held 1-4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home, (between 390 Long Pond Rd). Her Funeral Service will be celebrated 10 AM on Monday at the funeral home. Interment at White Haven Memorial Park, 210 Marsh Rd, Pittsford. The family would like to thank the dedicated staff at the Pittsford Highlands and VNS Hospice for the wonderful care they provided Wendy. Donations may be made to the Greater Rochester National Parkinson Foundation, P.O. Box 23204, Rochester, NY 14692 in Wendy's memory. With a wonderful ability to connect with children, she was a beloved teacher at Fairport Village Nursery School and later Penfield Village Nursery School. Later in life she pursued her desire to learn sign language and worked with deaf children at School #1, with her retirement in 1998. Wendy loved to garden, cross-country ski, ice skate, travel, play piano, sketch, take long walks and be with her grandchildren. Over the years Wendy was an active volunteer at The Strong NICU and TWIG. She attended Journey Christian Church with her husband Bob. Wendy was an avid swimmer, lifeguard and always mastered the difficult art of wallpapering. As a loving wife, mother, friend and grandmother, she enriched the lives of everyone around her.
