GREECE: Saturday November 18, 2006 at age 94 with his loving daughters and granddaughter at his side, Zelly entered eternal peace. He is survived by his daughters, Catherine Oliveri (Joseph), Joyce Dineen (Tony Eaffaldano); grandchildren, Christopher (Lori) Oliveri, Alicia (Freddy) Faticone, Joseph (Autumn) Oliveri, Joyce (Christopher) Potter, T.J. Eaffaldano, Lisa Eaffaldano; great grandchildren, Alyssa, Nicolas, Brittany, Noah, Anthony, Dominic, Ryan, Jake, Joshua and Alexa; brother, Ernie Dineen; sister, Sylvia Nicosia; Many nieces nephews.
History
Zelly was a courageous and brave US Army 1st Ranger (Darby's) and P.O.W. captured, battle of Cisterno, Italy 1944. He was recognized as a special friend to all disabled Veterans and given the Commanders Club Gold Award in appreciation for never forgetting the price that was paid for our freedom and especially for his steadfast loyalty.
