Betty Ann (Zellner) Houston

SPENCERPORT - Passed peacefully on February 25, 2019. Predeceased by her husband, Claud Houston; daughter, Debbie Tranello; brothers & sisters, Mike, Sonny, Patty, Sue & Shyla. Betty is survived by her son, Jeff (Denice) Houston; granddaughter; Rachel (Andrzej) Majka; brothers & sisters, Tommy, Jimmy, Mary Lou, Joe, Linda, Nancy, Candice; many nieces, nephews & dear friends. Betty enjoyed country jamborees, knitting, crocheting & hosting her annual craft sale.

Her family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff of Unity’s 4400 wing for their loving and compassionate care. 

Betty’s life story will be shared during visitation on Saturday, March 2nd from 12 noon until 3:00 pm at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her funeral service will follow visitation at 3:00 pm.

Betty was born in North Tonawanda in December of 1933 to Frank & Elaine Zellner. She is was the eldest of 13 children. She married Claud and had 2 children, Debbie and Jeff.

She enjoyed riding the motorcycle to visit family in Buffalo, hosting the holidays at her home and spending time with friends, especially for fish fry Friday. Betty spent time crocheting, knitting and loved to watch gameshows and the Young & Restless.
