Scott Michael Kruppenbacher

November 18, 1994 ~ April 13, 2026

Born in: Rochester, NY
Resided in: Rochester, NY

Scott Michael Kruppenbacher passed suddenly on April 13, 2026.

Scott is predeceased by his grandparents, Russell & Mary Loria. He is survived by his parents, Joette & Scott Kruppenbacher; sister, Katherine Kruppenbacher; grandparents, Gary & Diane Kruppenbacher; aunts & uncles, Cheryl (Vince) Dinolfo, Russell (Anne) Loria, Joseph (Jennifer) Loria & James (Tim Shank) Kruppenbacher; cousins, Patrick (Callie) Dinolfo & children, Garrett (Julia Palozzi) Loria, Russell (Michael Carrah) Dinolfo, Jennifer Dinolfo, Matthew Loria, Joseph Loria & Anthony Loria; and many dear friends.

Scott was a Greece native with deep roots. He attended St. Lawrence Elementary School, where he was a boy scout and started trumpet lessons at the age of seven. He then attended Hilton Central Schools, where his love of music shined during his years playing trumpet in the band and jazz ensemble, performing in the yearly “evening of jazz” concerts.

Scott had a passion for life that was contagious. His positive outlook radiated through the smile he always wore on his face. He took genuine interest in everyone, making each individual he met feel seen and heard, never passing judgement. His excitement for life was balanced by his patience, kindness, and tender heart. He was always there to lend an ear, a true friend to all.

Scott was a man of many interests. A mechanic by trade, but also a carpenter, a plumber, and electrician. He liked to spend his time tinkering in his garage doing side jobs or working for his friends on just about anything that has a motor. He thrived when he could take something apart, find the problem, and rebuild it piece by piece. He took pride in his work, but most of all, he took pride in his family. He was the man that looked for and lived for his family.

We know you’re in heaven Scotty, be our angel and save a hug for us.

Scott’s life story will be shared during visitation at the funeral Home on Friday, April 17th from 3-8 pm. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 18th at 10am at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 W. Ridge Rd., 14626. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made in Scott’s name to Mike Rowe Works Foundation at mikeroweworks.org
