Sharon “Sherry” Sullivan was married to Peter Sullivan for 63 years until his passing in 2023. Her devotion to her children and grandchildren was always her top priority.
Sherry had a laugh and smile that were truly infectious, and a heart of gold. She was a constant source of love and support- always showing up and never more than a phone call away. She welcomed everyone with open arms and always provided encouragement to all who knew her.
Some of her fondest memories were made at the family cottage on Lake Ontario. She enjoyed watching the grandkids play in the water, cooking incredible meals, socializing with her neighbors and watching the beautiful sunsets.
Sherry was a devout Catholic. She graduated from Our Lady of Mercy and faithfully attended weekly Mass at St. Lawrence Church.
The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to the staff at St. Ann’s Community-Antoinette, Kyle, Anne, Rachel, Michelle, Tameeka and Mark-for their outstanding care and friendship they provided to our mom. We would also like to thank the staff at Highland Hospital for their compassion in Sherry’s final days.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 4th, at the Walter and Barbara Parkes Family Chapel at St. Ann’s Community, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621.
Entombment will be held at White Haven Memorial Park.
