Stephen Essig Relation to Deceased: Good Friend & Golf companion Al was one of the kindest person my wife and I have ever met. It always seemed to me when we went on our golf outings to Myrtle Beach, Peak & Peek, Binghamton, etc. that Al was more concerned that his friends were having a good time than actually having a good time himself. Certainly not a selfish man, but a man that was always ready and eager to share with his friends. I know that I’m a better person for having Al as my friend. We shared many laughs and great times on the golf course and off. Al’s presence will be greatly missed, but he’ll not be forgotten by any of us. God Bless you Al , Steve (Woosie) Essig & Karen The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips
Pam Jones-Peterson Relation to Deceased: Friend Malora & to The Perendis family…so sorry to hear the loss of Al…. He was a great person, dad, friend with an endless smile & fond memories..May you find comfort in each other as days go by…God Bless The celebration of life, shared in the beginning, and again, in the end. Yet we forget to celebrate it, in every moment we live. Time, days, years, go on, but are we alive? Alive and do not know it, sleeping in the world and dead to the life we are to live. To celebrate all life, the sparrow who sang in the morning, and died in the night, why do we not celebrate its life? To know thyself is to know you are alive – to give, to love, to seek truth, beauty, and suffer pain. In life as it is meant to be, pain is forgotten, and strength is all that’s left to be gained in the moment by moment celebration of life. By Deborah Peabody
Mary C Feltz Relation to Deceased: Sister You always signed your cards and emails, Love Big Brother. Mine to you were always signed Love, Lil Sis. There is no way for my mind to wrap around the thought that you are gone. We spoke just a few weeks ago, and your last email to me came the day you were taken ill. I will always remember the trust you put in me to listen to your confidences, and the trust I put in you to listen to mine. We may not have always seen eye to eye, but we always saw heart to heart. You have been in my life since the day I was born. My heart is broken to have had to say good-by. I wish you a safe journey and the hope that this step has brought you the peace you were searching for. I love you always. Love, Lil Sis
