Alpheus E. Blake GOODYEAR, ARIZONA - Alpheus Blake passed away peacefully at age 84 in Goodyear, AZ on August 1, 2020. Predeceased by his parents Cleon and Natalia Blake, brother David and sisters Irma, Dulcelina, Amalia and his loving wife Edna. Alpheus is survived by his only daughter Jacqueline Blake-Broughton and son in law Craig Broughton, and his sister Ana Elisa Sanchez, nieces, nephews and many friends. Alpheus was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. His faith and family were the foundation of his life. Alpheus was born and raised in Bocas Del Toro, Panama he was the 4th child of Cleon and Natalia Blake. Alpheus moved to Panama City, Panama as a young man to further his education and started his career at the Ford Motor Company. In Panama, is where he met his future wife Edna. They dated for a couple of years. Edna and her family then moved to the United States. Shortly thereafter Alpheus moved to the states where he and Edna reunited and were married. They had one child, Jacqueline, the love of their life and he raised his family in Rochester, NY. He was a dedicated buyer at Xerox for 29 years where he retired. Alpheus was an active member of his community and church. He was a prankster and loved telling jokes. Also Alpheus was passionate about baseball, bowling and his family.
