My sincere condolences as you experience the grief of your father’s passing.
I had the honor of meeting your parents through our friendship and over the years experience the joy your family brings to this world. And, most recently, enjoying Mr. Blake’s fellowship and humor during my visit with you earlier this year. Your father’s energy, love of food, engaging personality and joy of competitive bowling filled the hearts of everyone he encountered. His spirit lives on in and through you.
Your parents presence remains on this earth and I know they are proud of you. You are your father’s daughter and we rejoice in seeing his spirit in you. It is an honor to have met your parents and I am grateful they blessed this earth with a daughter, Jacqueline, who I have the honor of calling my friend.
May God heal your broken heart and bandage your wounds with an overabundance of grace and comfort. I ask God to grant you peace and renew the strength bestowed upon you by your parents to carry on their good works.
Let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes. Ephesians 4:23.
We first met Al and Edna when we joined Faith Presbyterian Church here in Canton, GA. Al & Edna and I connected almost immediately. I guess because we had many things in common. Al and I have had long conversations about politics, life and health. I had the opportunity to visit Edna several times before she passed last year, and I was very touched to see how devoted Al was to her. Many times I tried to encourage and remind him to take care of himself.
If every couple was as devoted to each other as Al and Edna were, it would be a pleasant world. Al also spoke very lovingly about his daughter Jacqueline and his son-in-law.
I will miss our conversations. But I know he went to be with his loving wife. May he rest in God’s loving arms.
Jacqueline my condolences to you and your family.
Your dad was a very sweet man. Always pleasant when I met him.
I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
