Additional Information
Andrea grew up in the Lyell Ave. neighborhood with her siblings Francis, Therese Andrew. She went to Jefferson Hgh School, graduated from Postdam with her Bachelors in Education and from Brockport with a Masters in English. She taught at Fairport Central Schools, tutored English and was a social worker. She met Gerry on a blind date set up by Sam Phyllis Muratore. They were married on April 27, 1975 at Most Precious Blood Church, one of her fondest memories. Her marriage and the birth of her children were important events to her. Michael's wedding was very important to her, also the second wedding in Poland. She enjoyed seeing her daughter at the Theatre watching her sing. They loved to sing together at Christmas Mass.
Her hobbies included cooking, cake decorating, baking, crocheting, singing in the church choir, reading and talking on the phone.
Andrea was the life of the party. She loved cooking for Christmas, actually she loved cooking for any reason. Visits ot see her family in Washington State were cherished moments. She enjoyed "The club"-meeting once a month for lunch or a visit to the casino. Andrea was a fan of the NY Giants, Celine Dion, Andrea Boccelli, Through the Snow, Jersey Boys, Beast from Beauty the Beast and the West Side Story.
Andrea was witty, funny, had a heart of gold, passionate about her family faith. Everything in her life was important. She was honest, straight forward and loyal. These are the qualities that will be sorely missed.
