She is survived by her sister, Lucy Giardina; brother, Tony Giardina; sisters-in-law, Nancy Betty Giardina; special cousin, Angie Buono; niece guardian, Elizabeth Wise; special nephew, Anthony Giardina Jr grand-niece, Kristen (Steven) Villegas - their children, Steven Vanessa; special godson, Richard Brongo; nieces nephews, Marie (Dan) Davids, JoAnn (Stephen) Wowkowych, Michele (Ray) Nettles, Michael Giardina, Michael Giardina of FL, Connie Elmore, Nancy (Carl) Sudore, Jennifer Giardina Donna Ringholz; great-nieces great-nephews, Nicholas Pelliccia, Sara Tom Wowkowych, Betsie Katie Nettles, Heather Elmore, Tony Suarez, Lexa Sudore, Neil (Marlena) Davids, Samuel (Kaitlin) Giardina Zoey Giardina. Services Angela's visitation will be held 2-6PM on Sunday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Ln (between Rte 390 Long Pond Rd). Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10AM on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Church, 2400 West Ridge Rd. Interment at a later date. Additional Information Angela was an accomplished woman with a passion for reading, learning higher education. She was a graduate of Geneseo College Columbia University, with a BS MS in Library Science. She was the Head Librarian, for 18 years, at Pace University prior to marrying Harwood. They spent the early part of their marriage in Bozeman, MT but settled in Memphis, TN, working at Memphis State University. She spoke seven languages later achieved her MS in Russian Studies at the age of 65. She was also a master gardener a founding member of the Memphis Herb Society, co-authoring their herb cookbook. Angela was also an artist, painting on enamel and creating jewelry. Travel was another of Angela's passions she went on fabulous adventures all over the world throughout her lifetime. Her most valuable treasures were her books, enamel paintings, stories photos of her travels, her family her wonderful friends from Memphis Tennessee.
