Uncle Anthony was a blessing to our entire family. He lit up a room when he entered, with his gentleness, friendliness, kindness, and, above all, his love for family. I will forever treasure all the Christmas Eves we spent together, with Uncle Anthony goodnaturedly going along with nativity plays and Yankee Grab Bags–and enjoying calamarii, cowgengeet cookies, and always and only Dewar’s scotch! You can’t replace someone like Uncle Anthony–but only be grateful we had him as long as we did.
Kathy and family, we are truly sorry for your loss. Anthony was an amazing person and we feel so blessed that he was in our lives. He was a wonderful husband to Marion and a wonderful father to Kathy and Mike and all the rest of the family. He took me in and always treated me as part of the family and for that I will be thankful. He was a great cousin to my Aunt and she will always treasure him.
