  1. Patty Boccia Newell Relation to Deceased: Cousin Mary,Marisa ,Paul …I remember Sunday mornings hanging out with my dad, uncle Josie, uncle Art and uncle George on Backus Street. The “Boys” were spreading their corny jokes to their sisters{started on Ambrose St. to aunt Bessie’s and on to Backus. In walks Tony,I fell in love, and he begins with his stories, his one liners and that wonderful laugh and smile…he humbled the”Boys” and won my heart. When I heard of Tony”s death,Rog and I were in Rochester and it was so easy to talk about him and remember..I remember thinking about his laugh, the twinkle in his eyes and how he loved to share his stories with everyone.I was going to miss that. Saturday evening I was blessed with the opportunity to sit across the table and laugh and talk to Paul….need I say more?Tony was a gift and Rog and I will smile whenever we think of him. Love you, Knute!!!!

  2. Pamela J Cardone To the Mastrangiola family, my sincerly sympathies for your loss. The butterfly emerges from its silken shell- Reborn, it arises, no longer bound to earth. Free at last, the butterfly glides to heights unknown before. So do our loved ones find a beautiful release as, earthbound no more, they leave our sight and joyfully rise to a garden of matchless beauty, a place of light and peace. -Evelyn Phillips

  4. Jill A Hutson I have so many great memories of Tony. He was so funny and so kind to us when we were kids. He got me unstuck out of his tree ( thanks!)Will always remember the memorable ride in his convertible mustang taking all of the Rhea Crescent kids to Hoover in a snow storm!! What a ride! And the loving way he would throw the worst insults to my Dad in Wegmans, man were we embarrassed, but Tony and Dad had the times of their lives! What a guy! Will be missed by me and I’m sure anyone he touched in his life! God speed Tony! As we look back over time We find ourselves wondering ….. Did we remember to thank you enough For all you have done for us? For all the times you were by our sides To help and support us ….. To celebrate our successes To understand our problems And accept our defeats? Or for teaching us by your example, The value of hard work, good judgement, Courage and integrity? We wonder if we ever thanked you For the sacrifices you made. To let us have the very best? And for the simple things Like laughter, smiles and times we shared? If we have forgotten to show our Gratitude enough for all the things you did, We’re thanking you now. And we are hoping you knew all along, How much you meant to us.

  6. Henry Virginia & Debbie Laorno Relation to Deceased: Friends We all loved stopping to visit with Tony & Susie on our trips to the Florida. Always a Come On In! big welcome. Always loved to cook and entertain and was a great cook. I, Debbie, was invited to the house on Easter on my solo vacation and asked Tony why all the cooking and entertaining it is alot of work and it was time to enjoy retirement. He said he loved to cook and entertain and a houseful of people was his enjoyment–nothing he liked better! We all loved exchanging stories: old, new, politics and always about the native Floridians also know as the Swamp People–some of the worse drivers in the country. A poem may be to sad for his happy life so he would like this: The purpose of life is not to arrive at the end with a well-preserved body but rather to slide in sideways, completely used up yelling and screaming “what a ride!” author unknown. We will always love and miss him. Sympathy to Susie, Marisa & family
